Demonstrators in Santa Fe marched to the Roundhouse to support the proposed Immigrant Safety Act following two fatal ICE shootings in Minnesota.

Arizona protesters on Tuesday called for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after the law enforcement agency has been deployed to Minneapolis in massive numbers, where it has aggressively and violently sought to implement President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda and clashed with Minnesotans opposing the effort.

The “Free America Walkout” brought more than 200 protesters to the Arizona Capitol on Tuesday exactly one year after President Donald Trump’s second inauguration to protest the administration and its policies.

Protesters also called attention to Rep. Claudia Tenney's support of President Donald Trump and the administration's policies.

Organizers said they hoped for the protest to be peaceful and for "participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontations."
